Tweddle, who won the uneven bars, finished tied for fourth place in the floor exercise, with China's Fei Cheng claiming her second gold of the week.

Compatriot Wei Yang won the men's parallel bars - his second gold after taking the all-around title.

China ended the week having won eight of the 14 gold medals on offer.

Rizzo Philippe won the horizontal bar for Australia's first-ever gold at the World Championships, Romania's Marian Dragulescu took the men's vault and Ukraine's Iryna Krasnianska won the women's beam.

Speaking to Five Live before her final event, Tweddle reflected on winning Britain's first world gold.

"It's only just started to sink in," she said.

"Hopefully with this result people will see that British Gymnastics are moving up the ranks and we're not just there for the fun of it. We are there to get results."
