The motivation for setting up the British Gymnastics Foundation is to provide considerable benefit for the public. They will strive to develop people and help htem reach their full potential through sport by providing opportunities to improve peoples' lives and strengthen communities with the positive influence of sport.
The British Gymnastics Foundation works closely in partnership with British Gymnastics, to add value in the following three focus areas initially:
1. Disability gymnastics
2. Gymnastics in schools
3. Providing assistance to those experiencing hardship who may wish to participate in gymnastics.
